Appaloosa Acres is now mostly completed and is home to Titan and Marcus
- our Belgians, Merlin - our Percheron/Quarterhorse, Vulcan - our Missouri Foxtrotter/Quarterhorse, May - our Percheron/Paint,
Moonshine, our Appaloosa/Arabian and Buck - our Appaloosa for whom the farm is named.

Appaloosa Acres is also thrilled
with the acquisition of the young registered Arabian Stallion, J A Shugak's
Legacy, who will be starting his juvenile show career shortly. Legacy
is a son of the magnificent Shugak out of a gorgeous Shugak daughter. He is his father in every respect !! He is
typical of the tremendous soundness and character that Shugak is known for producing and his structure and movement
are excellent. As an inbred stallion, he should be dominant for producing the best of the Shugak traits.

My horsepartner John Gray is the one actually in residence on the farm. John is the Sgt in charge of the K-9 unit
for our local law enforcement agency and was the original owner of Titan before our partnership.
Appaloosa Acres is located on 45 gorgeous acres outside of Blythe, Georgia. The Barn, John's cottage, the paddock,
round pen, pastures and a 90 x 200 ft training arena occupy 22 acres while 23 acres of scenic woods were imaginatively
transformed by a good friend into a wonderful maze of
riding trails.

We may do selective pasture boarding (with hay and grain) for a very small number of additional geldings in the
near future. Horses have shade and access to shelter during inclement weather.
At the present time, there is a pasture area available to our German Shepherd friends for tracking or other training
needs except bitework. Please contact us to arrange for its use.

Best of America By Horseback Trail Ride with Tom Seay
This weekend ride was held at Lakeview Plantation in South Carolina March 29th and 30th, 2008 and
will be broadcast on the RFD Channel in September. Lynda and Buck had a great time
with Irina and Mystic and Terry and Country. The site is great, wonderful scenery to ride through and great food
and activities all weekend.
